Texas Filmmakers Unite at Sundance Reception

The Texas Association of Film Commissions hosted a Film Texas reception this week at the Sundance Film Festival. Chris Ohlson and Matt Muir joined a number of Texans, including actors, producers, the directors of the Dallas Film Commission, the San Antonio Film Commission and the deputy director of the Houston Film Commission, in celebration of film from the Lone Star State.

Texan filmmakers were represented in nine different films screening at the festival, including Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter, co-produced by Revelator’s Chris Ohlson, No No: A Dockumentary, and Rat Pack Rat.

Debbie Cerda over at the Austin film blog Slackerwood gave Chris and Matt a great shout out in her blog where you can read about the whole event.

Now it’s time for us to get back to the festivities. We’re looking forward to seeing more familiar faces throughout the week, so come find us!
