CBS Talks Up Ohlson’s Spirit Award Nomination

Our excitement about Chris’ recent nomination got quite the boost today! As you know, Revelator’s Head of Production, Chris Ohlson, was recently nominated for the Film Independent Spirit Awards Producers Award. Well, we just caught wind of this CBS article which features Chris’ name alongside some of the best independent films and filmmakers of 2014 and we have to admit, now we’re gushing with pride.

The 18th Annual Piaget Producers Award recognizes emerging producers who demonstrate the tenacity, creativity and vision required to produce quality, independent films. Chris’ work on two films this year, KUMIKO, THE TREASURE HUNTER (Sundance Premiere 2014) and THANK YOU A LOT (SXSW Premiere 2014), earned him a spot among only two other producers nominated for this prestigious award. We’re hoping for a win, but the nomination proves that Revelator is home to a big up-and-coming name in film and video production!
